Our mission

The Prince Edward Island Forest Industry Association represents logging contractors, silviculture workers, mill operators, woodlot consultants, and anyone who depends on a productive forest sector. We exist to give that community reliable industry information, and effective representation with government and the public.

Our vision

A productive forestry sector where the people who depend on it can build lasting livelihoods, and where forestry's contribution to PEI's economy and rural communities is recognized and growing.

Why add your name

An association is only as credible as the sector it can prove it represents. The more of us on this list, the harder we are to ignore — and the clearer the picture we can give government about what the industry actually needs.

Representation that counts

When we speak to government, numbers matter. A large, verified membership is what turns opinions into a mandate.

Reliable industry information

Get straight updates on policy, programs, and conditions affecting the sector — without the noise.

Your read on the ground

We'll poll the list with short surveys to keep a finger on the pulse of the sector. Your answers shape what we bring to decision-makers.

A sector that's understood

We work to improve public understanding of forestry as a working industry and a long-term land stewardship practice.
